Professor Gary Libecap "I have known Ken Gartrell for the past 3 years through his involvement with ISNIE, the International Society for New Institutional Economics. Ken is active in the organization, bringing both intellectual and financial support to the group. He organizes conference panels and provides critical links between those who work in academics and those who are part of the broader economy. He and his wife Dona are a valuable part of the ISNIE family, which is growing throughout the world." Gary D. Libecap is Anheuser Busch Professor of Economics, Law and Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Arizona, Tucson and Director of the Karl Eller Center and McGuire Entrepreneurship Program. He also is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research centers on the problems of open-access, common pool resources and the regulatory response to them. |
